William B. Silverman, M.D.
Professor (Clinical)

Dr. Silverman is interested in the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic pancreatitis. He has participated in multicenter studies addressing diagnostic and therapeutic problems in pancreatitis. He is especially interested in the use of endoscopic stents for pancreatitis and biliary disorders, as well as the potential applications of platelet activating factor antagonists (PAF-AH) in post ERCP pancreatitis.

Dr. Silverman is interested in the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic pancreatitis. He is especially interested in the use of endoscopic stents for pancreatic and biliary disorders.
