If no additional films are needed, you will be informed that it is all right to return to your room or to the clinic which requested the X-ray examination.
A radiologist - a doctor who specializes in X-rays - will interpret your X-rays and report the results to your doctor, who in turn will discuss them with you. Please remember... Do not be disturbed if you see other patients and visitors come and go while you are in the X-ray department. Not all patients are having the same type of X-ray examination - different examination types require different amounts of time.
