It was reported in the popular, New American Library book (an Onyx Book ) entitled, "Goddess, the secret Lives of Marilyn Monroe" , by Anthony Summers, (pp. 34-35) that the beautiful and famous movie actress, owned a book called De Humani Corporis Fabrica by Andreas Vesalius. The noted photographer Earl Theisen noticed that the book was marked-up in detail, and Marilyn often explained that she was studying the bone structure of the body. He also reported that illustrations from the book decorated the walls of her poorly furnished rooms early in her career, and even near the end of her life when she was addicted to drugs, Marilyn would instruct her young friends with an encyclopedic knowledge of human bone structure.

This part of the Encyclopedia, Skeleton, is dedicated to the memory of Marilyn Monroe. Image of Marilyn
