As part of educational programs, we have developed this forum that combines clinical imformation with images obtained during diagnostic evaluations or therapeutic interventions. We hope that this format will fill the gap between textbook and atlas. All the case studies are peer-reviewed clinical presentations with instructional figures written primarily by trainees in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of the University of Iowa. We focused on instructional cases that will highlight pathophysiological concepts, introduce a variety of diagnostic tools and discuss therapeutic options. Our goal is to develop a repository of case studies that functions as a useful learning and reference tool.

This is work in progress and we would certainly appreciate feedback and input to improve this project further.
