A small number of Virtual Hospital textbooks have been translated in languages other than English, and more will be added.
Virtual Hospital is working with representatives from a number of nations to provide authoritative translations of certain portions of the Virtual Hospital collection. To do so, we are overcoming legal, cultural, and ownership challenges. We use translations done by humans rather than ones generated by machines. This way, we assure a higher quality translation, appropriate use of medical terms, and information placed in an appropriate cultural context.
