Etiology/Pathophysiology:
The skull is the most common site of involvement in the skeleton.
Pathology:

Imaging Findings:
Lesions involve the outer table of the skull to a greater degree than
the inner table. Lesions extend across suture lines. Mandibular
involvement is characterized by "floating teeth" due to destruction
of molar alveolar processes. Basal involvement includes the mastoid
parts of the temporal bone and petrous ridges, the sphenoid bone and
the orbits.
