Etiology/Pathophysiology:
Hereditary hamartomatous disorder of neuroectoderm, mesoderm,
endoderm that involves all organ systems.

Imaging Findings:
A large number of neuroradiologic findings are encountered:
Skull lesions - macrocranium, sphenoid dysplasia, occipitotemporal dysplasia, sella turcica enlargement.
Brain tumors - gliomas
Cranial nerve tumors - optic nerve gliomas, acoustic neuromas
Meningeal tumors - meningiomas
Spinal cord tumors - neurofibromas, dural ectasia
